According to the Connecticut Post, Park City Prep Charter School, one of Bridgeport’s top performing schools, is up for charter renewal on Wednesday. [Connecticut Post, 12/15/2013]
The hearing will be held between 6-8pm on December 18th at City Hall’s Common Council Chambers, 45 Lyon Terrance.
Park City Prep is a state funded public charter school which serves 260 middle school students (sixth to eighth grade.) The school has been open for eight years, with a curriculum that focuses on math, science and technology.
The head of the board for Connecticut’s technical high schools and former Bridgeport Board of Education member, Robert Trefry, will preside over Wednesday’s hearing.
