With Interim Superintendent Fran Rabinowitz’s one-year contract set to expire in less than two months, you’d think the Bridgeport Board of Education would be scrambling to get back on schedule with their superintendent search.
Nope. Not this board.
Their original intention was to interview potential candidates throughout the month of January. It looks like that won’t happen for a while, considering the board spent last Wednesday’s policy and procedures committee meeting in executive session discussing whether to interview all four search firms that submitted proposals last November.
Yes, they really did have an entire meeting dedicated to that topic.
In the end, they decided to interview all four search firms: Cooperative Educational Services, ProAct, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, and Ray Associates.
Interviews are set for February 3rd, from 5-9.
